Tyler Ellinger joined Marcus & Millichap in 2012 and has quickly risen to be a top agent in the Salt Lake City office. He and his team specialize in single tenant, multi-tenant, and net-leased investment sales. Tyler has closed properties in ten states and has begun to establish a strong national practice. Tyler has already closed 35 properties with well-known national tenants including OfficeMax, O'Reilly Auto Parts,7-Eleven, Chili's, Arby’s, Café Rio, Circle K, Kum & Go, U.S. Bank, Wingers, and Jiffy Lube. Tyler’s success stems from his ability to relate well with people and provide a detailed analysis for property owners and buyers. Tyler’s education and work experience prior to Marcus & Millichap has greatly helped him maximize value for his clients. Tyler received his undergraduate degree in accounting at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and then moved to California where he worked at Mayer Hoffman McCann, a public accounting firm. Tyler earned his Certified Public Accountant certification in California before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah with the firm. He later accepted a position at Woodlands Commercial Bank where he worked in internal audit while pursuing and receiving a Master in Business Administration from Westminster College. After two years and eight months with Woodlands Commercial Bank, Tyler left to pursue his career in commercial real estate investment sales with Marcus & Millichap.
